Do not be afraid to ask questions or voice your concerns. If you experienced complications during your pregnancy, such as diabetes or any form of hypertension, postpartum follow-up care is crucial. As healthcare providers, we are only just realizing how much pregnancy-related complications effect women in the months and years following delivery.
