Hyatt Regency Lost Pines – Bastrop, Texas

This is another one of my favorite hotels. The pool area isn’t as big as Hyatt Hill Country, but the property is newer, quieter, and it’s closer to Houston.  Like my other favorite Hyatt hotels, there are tons of activities for families and children planned throughout the day.  They also offer s’mores by the campfire at night and movie night on the lawn.  Crafts range from free – $5.  They offer horseback riding lessons, kayaking down the river, sunset rafting tours, and  they also have bicycles available for adults and children that are scattered throughout the property.  This property also offers a Kids Camp and they also have spa services tailored to children.

HINT:  Like the other properties, it’s totally worth the extra money to get a ground floor room.  The kids can play on the lawn while you watch from the comfort of your patio.

I’ve always thought this property was the nicer one, but Hyatt Hill Country’s water park area is considerably larger. This property also has a lazy river (yessss!) and nice pool areas.

Lost Pines is about 30 miles outside of Austin, so if you feel like venturing into the city, there are plenty of things to do.

Until my next delivery ❤

I want to hear what you have to say!
